|**Animal Nutritionist**International Nutrition manufactures and distributes medicated, nutritional, water soluble premixes and specialty products into the U.S. and international markets.These products are developed for feeding all livestock, poultry, fish and shrimp.We are seeking a motivated individual to be a part of the nutrition/technical team of International Nutrition at our corporate office, located in Omaha, Nebraska.**Reports to**: President/CEO & Operations/Technical Services Manager**Overview**:This position will work with domestic and international sales to assist in the development and presentation of premix products to customers. Will work with production and quality assurance to assist in oversight of product formulation, label development/control and non-conformance investigations with corrective actions.This position will need to gain a working understanding of the animal feed and premix industry with a focus on product oversight and development. Exceptional computer skills and math skills required.**Minimum Education:*** Master’s degree in animal science, focusing on nutrition.* Understanding the regulatory aspects of the animal feed business is a plus.**Essential Functions:*** Manage Technical activities affecting formulation, labeling, and packaging of products manufactured by the Company.* Interfaces with the Purchasing Manager, QA Manager and Production Manager to develop technical aspects of the manufacturing process.* Learn and take part in the food quality and safety programs. Participate in the internal auditing functions.* Provide internal and external technical service support.* Manage inventory of products that are produced.* Ensure that production output meets sales and inventory requirements through direct interface with the Plant Manager.* Prepare and revise production schedules as needed.
