Float Phlebotomist – Labcorp
We are looking for a dedicated Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Boise, ID and surrounding area. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will gain experience across a variety of clinics and patients, allowing you to grow within Labcorp.
Key Incentives
$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS** (active Labcorp employees are not eligible)
Phlebotomy Incentive Plan – quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Float Incentive – additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
Work Schedule & Location Schedule:
Monday – Friday, hours vary between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm; overtime and rotating Saturdays may be required. Location:
Boise, ID and surrounding area.
Benefits Employees scheduled for 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Part‑time employees (less than 20 hours) are eligible only for a 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
