This company is an industrial automation and systems integration company that designs and builds custom machinery, robotic systems, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
As a mechanical designer, you will be responsible for designing and detailing custom automation equipment using SolidWorks, including 3D models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings. You will collaborate with engineers and the build team to support projects from concept through manufacturing, ensuring designs are functional, manufacturable, and meet industry standards.
This is a
Temp-to-Perm
position and will be required to be fully
in-office .
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role
Strong proficiency with
SolidWorks
(assemblies, drawings, configurations)
Experience with custom automation equipment, including conveyors, robotic cells, packaging systems, frames, and machine components, is a plus!
Ability to read and create manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel
