Position Overview The Senior Account Executive is a key driver of client execution and media relations at R[AR]E. This role requires a seasoned PR professional who can manage accounts with confidence, think strategically about storytelling, and proactively lead media outreach for real estate clients.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day account work, owning media relationships, driving coverage, mentoring junior team members, and helping shape client narratives across the real estate lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how real estate works—from transactions and development timelines to market trends—and can operate independently while contributing at a high strategic level.
Responsibilities Client & Account Leadership
Serve as a primary point person on assigned accounts, managing day‑to‑day execution with limited supervision
Maintain strong client relationships and anticipate needs, next steps, and opportunities
Draft agendas, lead meetings, and ensure follow‑through on all action items
Media Relations & Thought Leadership
Own proactive and reactive media relations for real estate clients across print, digital, and broadcast outlets
Secure high‑quality placements in real estate, business, finance, architecture/design, and lifestyle media
Pitch transactions, developments, executive commentary, trend stories, and market insights
Identify and secure speaking engagements, panels, awards, and industry recognition
Build and deepen long‑term relationships with key reporters and editors
Writing & Strategy
Write and edit press releases, pitches, bylines, interview prep materials, and client communications with minimal revision
Generate strong story angles rooted in market trends, deal activity, and industry insights
Contribute to broader account strategy and creative ideation
Team Contribution & Agency Growth
Mentor Account Executives through example, feedback, and collaboration
Ensure coverage tracking, reporting, and digital asset organization are consistently maintained
Stay deeply engaged in real estate and consumer media coverage
Contribute PR and visibility ideas for R[AR]E as a brand
Skills & Core Competencies
Demonstrated ability to think and act independently on behalf of clients
Strong understanding of real estate, development, investment, architecture, hospitality, and luxury sectors (depending on account mix)
Excellent writing and editing skills (AP style)
Strategic thinker with strong research and trend‑spotting abilities
Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and detail‑oriented
Professional, confident communicator with strong client presence
Positive, collaborative, and solution‑oriented
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of PR agency experience, preferably with exposure to real estate, architecture, design, finance, or adjacent industries
Based in Los Angeles, New York City, or Miami
Strong writing and editing skills (AP style)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Proactive, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable working independently
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
