Position Overview: The RelationshipBanker is responsible for delivering an exceptional banking experience thatresults in lasting customer relationships. This role provides a full scope ofproducts and services, ensuring customers receive the full capabilities ofBroadway Bank.
Essential Functions:
Provide comprehensive banking services, including transactions processing, account opening, servicing, and loan processing, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure prompt, accurate, and courteous service, and resolve client concerns directly or through appropriate referrals.
Engage customers through personal connections, open-ended questions, and active listening to build lasting relationships and trust.
Maintain deep expertise in all Broadway deposit and loan products to effectively educate and advise customers.
Achieve sales goals by understanding customer financial needs and presenting tailored solutions for Broadway’s products and services.
Build and expand relationships through outbound calls for service, sales, and account onboarding.
Utilize CRM effectively to capture client information, record activities, schedule follow-up actions, and identify next likely sales opportunities, facilitating robust customer relationship management.
Work collaboratively with Broadway bankers and LOB partners to connect customers with the right expertise for their financial needs.
Manage risk, practice loss prevention, and adhere to security policies while maintaining confidentiality.
Support retail objectives and meet regularly with Financial Center Manager to review goals and performance.
Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with laws, regulations, and bank policies.
This position may require travel within the Bank’s geographic area.
Experience & Education:
Previousretail or consultative sales experience.
Demonstratedsales and service experience with proven success in establishing andmeeting sales goals.
Experiencein using personal computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Highschool diploma or equivalent is required; some college-level coursework isa plus.
4-yeardegree and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experiencein retail sales and service is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications:
Commitment to self-development.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Other Requirements:
Meet and maintain financial responsibility, character and general fitness standards along with all other established requirements for an individual Loan Originator (LO) in accordance with Regulation Z.
Work involves sitting, extended periods of standing and occasional walking.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weightsor otherwise move objects weighing as much as50 lbs.on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
Occasional overtimeor extended hours may be required.
