Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and grow their structural (bridge) engineering practice at the local level. This leadership role is responsible for business development, financial performance, technical oversight, and people management, while partnering closely with office leadership to drive strategic growth. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute strategic growth plans with office managers and practice leaders Establish and expand market presence through marketing and business development efforts Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively Lead and contribute to proposal development Serve as a technical resource for project managers and engineering staff Identify staffing needs and oversee hiring for the department Conduct performance reviews with input from project managers Lead and support team members through ongoing performance management, coaching, and professional development Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program Active Professional Engineer (PE) license 10+ years of experience in horizontal structural / bridge engineering Experience with project management and business development Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with county and state-level clients Prior supervisory or people-management experience This role is based in a professional office environment. Work is primarily sedentary with occasional standing or walking. No hazardous conditions.
