The Role: We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead and grow our sales team across the multiple states and markets. This is a high-impact Sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and developing top-performing sales talent.
Location: Desert Southwest Region with preference in Arizona and Utah (Regional Travel Required)

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to drive profitable above market growth and achievement of monthly/yearly sales and margin budgets for the New England market.
- Collaborate with Regional and District leadership to develop sales budgets, pricing strategies, and territory design
- Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork
- Support Outside Sales Representatives in building strong relationships with key accounts
- Lead the field execution of sales campaigns and product launches
- Maintain effective communication with Branch, Regional, and Executive Leadership to achieve common goals and drive results
- Continuously build market intelligence through local industry associations, events, and vendor relationships
- Leverage business technology and sales data to make informed business decisions
- Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to identify and develop talent, strong judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, mentorship and coaching capabilities, motivational leadership skills, positive and adaptable attitude, effective change management
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents, report and correspondence writing, and effective presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web conferencing
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Previous operational experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or a related industry preferred
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to contribute strategically at the leadership table
- Ability to perform calculations, including percentages, discounts, and basic algebra and geometry concepts
- Problem-solving skills in varied situations, with the ability to interpret written and verbal instructions
