$133,600 - $167,000 plus bonus and long‑term incentive eligible.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Director of Large Format Retail Sales – Phorm Energy will lead strategies for key retailer partners (Walmart, Kroger, ABSCO, Publix). You will lead a team of 4 Key Account managers to implement a structured retail sales process aimed at performance opportunities, local account plans, and category strategies to drive growth for Phorm Energy.

The role works cross‑functionally with field sales, logistics, supply, wholesalers, and retailers to execute Large Format sales objectives, including volume, share, distribution, shelf space, and promotion opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, coach, and mentor the Retail Sales KAM team.
  • Grow sales and share of Phorm Energy across large format retail accounts.
  • Provide total account management; sell‑in programs and brand promotions.
  • Own retailer promotional & sales budget.
  • Utilize the full suite of sales tools (Circana, Power BI, Nielsen, etc.).
  • Communicate actively with Commercial and Wholesaler personnel.
  • Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets.
  • Contribute to the development and management of annual account plans.
  • Facilitate communication of wholesaler’s pricing to chain accounts.
  • Develop and maintain current and new relationships.
  • Adopt a team‑first mentality and multitask with numerous stakeholders.
  • Prioritize deadlines and tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of beverage retail initiatives (Free Fills, Slotting Fees).
  • Retailer selling experience (Grocery and Club preferred).
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • High level of analytical expertise and data‑based recommendations.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, follow‑up, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Field and retail sales experience in beverage or consumer products.
  • Understanding of DSD wholesaler network/processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment and drive positive results.
