Join Quest Industrial as the Director of Sales. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to drive growth through sales operations, business development, contract administration, and cross‑functional projects. This role balances strategic leadership with hands‑on support, ensuring the effective execution of commercial strategies and the development of a high‑performing team. ProMach’s Quest Industrial , based in Monroe and Middleton, Wisconsin, provides robotic integrated solutions to increase line efficiency and minimize risk across food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth goals.
  • Drive the execution of the strategic plan, adjusting initiatives to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Provide vision to lead the company into new products and markets that complement existing businesses.
  • Establish profitable and competitive pricing based on technical and cost data.
  • Oversee and support the negotiation of NDAs and contracts, acting as a liaison with management and legal counsel as needed.
  • Foster, promote, and facilitate cross‑selling of company‑wide products, services and capabilities across multiple brands.
  • Maintain close communication with Marketing and Engineering to strategize and develop new products for the marketplace.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and association meetings to promote the organization and its products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other ProMach divisions, identifying key partners for regular engagement.
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives with our frequent partners within ProMach.
  • Coach, teach and develop team members to achieve optimal performance and job satisfaction.
  • Oversee all personnel matters, including hiring, terminations, employee performance appraisals, identifying training needs and staff development.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers through oversight of forecast calls, sales opportunities, deal negotiations and close deals.
  • Attend customer visits and participate in meetings and calls with the Applications team.
  • Assist in managing key customer relationships and implementing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Oversee sales dashboards, metrics and leadership reporting in Salesforce.
  • Support monthly forecast documentation and dissemination.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, create collateral, identify prospects and coordinate tradeshow activities.
  • Educate customers on industry insights and our capabilities using consultative selling techniques.
  • Coordinate and participate in the review of the commercial aspects of opportunities.
  • 60–70% travel within the U.S. is required.

Base Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000; Potential Commission Opportunity: $100,000 – $150,000

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in manufacturing, packaging or automation.
  • CRM experience required (Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Strong business acumen, networking and decision‑making skills.
  • Independent, driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, develop, evaluate and supervise sales associates.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell ideas, concepts, and programs at the meeting level.
  • Experience with consultative, solution selling.
  • Proven ability to prospect and develop new accounts, as well as maintain and renew existing accounts.
  • Proven ability to translate client needs into concrete solutions.
  • Experience setting product/project scope parameters, setting pricing policies, and contract negotiation.
