The Cincinnati Bengals are seeking a Social Media Coordinator who lives and breathes social culture and knows how to capture the energy of The Jungle. This role sits at the intersection of real-time storytelling, fan engagement, and performance-driven content, supporting the day-to-day execution of the club's social media presence. The ideal candidate is creative, quick on their feet, and confident working in fast-moving environments. You have a strong feel for platform-specific storytelling, an instinct for what resonates with fans, and the ability to execute cleanly under pressure. - Create and oversee day-to-day social content creation and publishing across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and Threads
- Help maintain and adhere to a social media content calendar
- Maintain the voice and brand persona of the Cincinnati Bengals online
- Execute live press conferences across owned social channels
- Provide hands-on-keyboard coverage of home and away games
- Identify emerging social media platforms and content opportunities
- Ideate and execute original content related to current events and trending topics as relevant to the brand
- Monitor fan sentiment and identify ways to increase reach and engagement
- Engage and respond to followers/fans in a real-time manner
- Report weekly on content performance and social analytics to understand data trends and identify strengths and weaknesses
- Attend brand events and capture content for social media handles as needed
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred areas of study include digital media, social media, marketing, communications or related field
- Possess a working knowledge of and strong passion for football and the National Football League
- Minimum 1 year of social media experience required. Experience in professional sports and entertainment preferred
- Knowledge about the latest technology and social media trends, tools, and platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Threads, Snapchat
- Skilled in capturing, producing, and editing creative platform-specific photo and video content using Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Previous experience managing paid social campaigns is a plus
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as club schedule directs
- Maintain professionalism when speaking with athletes and coaches in both a work setting and within the context of an interview
- This position would be on location, 40+ hours a week.
- Are you able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as required by the Cincinnati Bengals' schedule?
- Are you able to relocate to (or already reside in) the Cincinnati area and work in person at our office?
- Are you comfortable providing real-time, hands-on-keyboard social coverage during live events, including NFL games and press conferences?
- Do you have at least one year of hands-on social media experience managing and publishing content for a brand, organization, or team (not personal accounts)?
- Do you actively follow the National Football League and have a working knowledge of football, teams, players, and league culture?
- Do you have experience capturing and editing photo and video content yourself using Adobe Suite tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects?
- Are you comfortable engaging with fans and responding to comments and messages in real time from official brand accounts?
- Do you have experience reviewing social performance metrics and using analytics to evaluate what content is working and why?
