Responsibilities
Cover territory to perform phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other sites as needed Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening & insurance exams Enter billing information and collect payment when required Coach, mentor, and advise new employees; serve as point of contact for on‑site staff and provide input to group lead or supervisor Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when requested Qualifications
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Work Experience: 5 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric & capillary collections 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Customer service experience in retail/service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience Effective communication in English is required.
