Job Title: Part Time - Relationship Banker I Job Description: The Relationship Banker will serve as the single point of contact for customers. This role is responsible for connecting with customers to understand how best to match their needs with First United Bank products and services, and for mentoring employees to do the same. The Relationship Banker will be responsible for customer service duties, sales, and relationship management while aiming to meet or exceed established goals. They will master First United Bank's delivery process and product knowledge to develop customer relationships by performing the essential duties listed below. Essential Duties: Maintain a basic knowledge of all First United Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and regulatory issues relevant to daily job functions (including Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy, Fair Lending, Regulation E, and deposit, transaction and loan accounts). Follow proper procedures accurately and efficiently for all customer-servicing activities. Retain existing customers and develop new customer relationships. Serve as customers\' single point of contact on all First United Bank products and services. Meet and often exceed performance goals; participate in sales campaigns; promote new products and services; educate customers and peers. Participate in meetings, bank functions, and customer appreciation/community events as requested or assigned. Consistently meet customer service expectations by offering excellent service, greeting customers, using their name, and building rapport to generate loyalty. Identify and match customer product needs with First United Bank products and services by interviewing customers and discussing their financial needs, including referrals to other staff or departments to ensure needs are met. Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other products; provide information and ensure proper paperwork is completed in the system. Assist customers with routine questions and requests: balances, statements, stop payments, online banking, ACH, transfers, direct deposit, wire processing, notary services, and privacy. Process transactions quickly and accurately according to bank policies (cash deposits, money orders, savings bonds, traveler\'s checks, cashier\'s checks, loan payments, and other services). Maintain appropriate drawer limits, perform cash verifications and vault duties. Verify all transactions, place holds as needed, and reconcile cash drawer at shift end, seeking assistance to resolve discrepancies. Proactively resolve customer complaints and issues. Review and resolve account issues listed in reports on a daily basis; assist with account charge-off repayment plans as needed. Perform security functions by opening/closing the bank and vault and maintaining overall safety of bank grounds. Master the Primary Purpose and Essential Duties of the Relationship Banker I position. Employee Specifications / Qualifications

High School Diploma strongly preferred; some college is strongly preferred. One year of retail experience preferred. Cash handling experience preferred. Superior customer service skills required. Basic mathematics to solve problems. Must be exact and highly accurate with daily work. Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently without close supervision. Good judgment and decision-making skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Ethical behavior at work and in interactions outside the workplace. Active listening skills to understand and assist customers effectively. The above essential duties do not cover all work requirements.
