Job Overview Naturepedic is seeking a top‑tier UX/UI Designer to lead the evolution of our digital customer experience, with a major focus on our migration from Magento to Shopify. This role blends strategic thinking, conversion‑focused UX and refined visual design, and will play a central role in shaping how customers discover, learn about and purchase Naturepedic products online.

You will own the end‑to‑end design of our e‑commerce experience – from discovery and education to checkout and post‑purchase – ensuring it is intuitive, accessible, performant and on‑brand.

What You’ll Do UX Strategy & Architecture

Lead UX strategy for the Magento → Shopify migration, ensuring no loss in performance, SEO equity or usability.

Translate complex product stories (materials, certifications, customization, pricing) into clear and intuitive user journeys.

Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, journey maps and information architecture.

Optimize high‑impact funnels including PDPs, PLPs, quizzes, filters and checkout, with a special focus on mobile‑first conversion performance.

Partner with CRO, performance marketing and analytics teams to design experiences grounded in real data.

UI & Visual Design

Design elegant, conversion‑focused interfaces that align with Naturepedic’s premium, health‑forward brand.

Develop a scalable design system that supports both luxury brand expression and optimal performance.

Design device‑aware experiences that go beyond responsiveness, making deliberate design choices for mobile and desktop interactions to improve clarity, speed and conversion.

Incorporate motion, micro‑interactions and layout systems to elevate polish and usability.

Report to E‑Commerce Product Manager and collaborate cross‑functionally with brand, content, retail and performance teams.

Partner with Art Director to champion Naturepedic’s visual and brand standards across all digital touchpoints.

Work closely with developers to ensure feasibility and pixel‑perfect implementation within Shopify.

Deliver engineering‑ready Figma files and interactive prototypes, with clear component usage, states and responsive behaviors.

Create and maintain clear design standards and usage guidelines for page layouts, information components and interactive elements, enabling internal teams to make consistent, on‑brand updates.

Participate in QA, usability testing and post‑launch optimization.

Optimization & Accessibility

Design with WCAG accessibility standards in mind.

Iterate based on A/B tests, heatmaps, session recordings and usability research.

Balance brand aesthetics with site speed, performance and scalability.

What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills

6–10+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally with high‑traffic e‑commerce brands.

Strong experience designing on Shopify (required); Magento experience or migration experience strongly preferred.

Expert in Figma (components, variants, auto‑layout, prototyping).

Deep understanding of CRO best practices, mobile‑first UX and e‑commerce patterns.

Strong grasp of UX research, usability testing and data‑informed design.

Experience collaborating closely with engineers and marketers.

End‑to‑end ownership of e‑commerce UX/UI.

Clear thinking behind design decisions (not just aesthetics).

PDPs, product discovery, checkout and navigation systems.

Examples of performance or conversion improvements driven by design.

Exceptional craftsmanship in typography, spacing, hierarchy and interaction details.

Nice to Have

Experience in DTC, luxury, wellness, or consumer goods.

Familiarity with Shopify Plus and headless implementations.
