Senior Financial Analyst
Client: A rapidly expanding real estate private equity firm located in Jersey City.
This role supports fund-level analysis, debt and loan covenant reporting, and performance analytics across a diversified real estate portfolio. The analyst partners with asset management, finance, and senior leadership.
Base Pay Range $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Perform fund-level financial analysis across multiple real estate funds, including cash flow modeling and variance analysis.
Assist with preparing the monthly financial reporting package.
Prepare and maintain loan covenant reporting, including compliance tracking, lender analysis, and borrowing base calculations.
Develop and analyze portfolio and asset-level KPIs.
Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes at the fund and asset level.
Partner with Asset Management and Accounting to analyze operating performance and identify trends, risks, and value-creation opportunities.
Assist with investor and management reporting, including dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentation materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field.
3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, real estate, asset management, or investment management.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ARGUS, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
