WHO WE NEED
Come join our Specialty Precast team! Delta is seeking a versatile and team-oriented
Project Structural Engineer . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology with a structural emphasis; 4-10 years’ experience in precast production of reinforced/prestressed concrete preferred.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of structural analysis, design, and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel.
Candidate should exhibit an understanding and knowledge of at least three of the following codes: AASHTO, ACI, PCI, ASCE 7 and/or IBC.
The candidate should be familiar with at least one of the following structural analysis/design software such as Concise Beam, Eriksson Culvert, RISA, Enercalc, SAP2000.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities, enabling them to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
This position will require an individual to have a strong technical ability, with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
The position provides a competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities with compensation dependent upon education and experience.
The ideal candidate will hold a PE, but it is not required.
The responsibilities will include overall design work, with primary focus points being:
Responsible for the preparation of structural design of concrete structures and related materials.
Responsible for the preparation of high-level structural drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Responsible for meeting scheduled deadlines.
Performing a variety of routine tasks which are intended to provide experience and interaction with higher-level staff, methods, practices, programs, and culture of Delta.
Preparing and/or reviewing of engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
Assist with preparing scope of work for projects and with proposal creation.
Attending limited virtual client meetings as required.
Performing challenging 3-dimensional structural analyses and designs for a wide variety of clients using various state-of-the-art design software.
Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education and knowing when to ask for assistance when required.
This position will be considered for a fully remote or hybrid work model at any of our office locations for qualified candidate outside a reasonable radius to one of our 5 office locations.

Hiring Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
