Global Ophthalmology & Rare Disease Recruitment Specialist EST Search are excited to be exclusively partnered with an innovative and growing surgical ophthalmology company that are bringing new devices to the European markets.
This confidential role combines
sales ,
market development , and
high‑level surgical training , working closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), glaucoma specialists, and cataract surgeons.
You will play a pivotal role in introducing novel ophthalmic technology to the German market—ensuring excellent clinical outcomes, building strong customer relationships, and driving commercial success.
Responsibilities include:
Train ophthalmic surgeons and OR staff to a high standard on device preparation, implantation technique, patient selection, and best practices.
Sales performance for the company's device portfolio.
Successful outcomes with payers in targeted EU markets.
KOL management.
Identifying and analysing new markets, market penetration, and providing ongoing competitive analysis.
Product supply chain management.
Strong “team” work ethic with Clinical, QA, Regulatory and Commercial teams.
Required Experience:
Candidates must have 3+ years in surgical ophthalmology working with IOLs, MIGS or other implants/Class III devices.
Experience in surgical training and comfort in a theatre environment.
Experience with KOL management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
