Job Summary Allen & Furr Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This full‑time hybrid position plays a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, supporting producers with quoting and marketing, and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of commercial lines coverage, enjoys building long‑term client partnerships, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Independently manage an assigned book of business, maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.

Review, analyze, and update client insurance portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and risk management strategies.

Manage or support quoting, marketing, and carrier submissions to ensure competitive and customized insurance solutions.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners; demonstrate a solid understanding of carrier websites and appetites.

Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and client inquiries promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and support agency growth initiatives.

Ensure all client activity and policy documentation is maintained in the agency management system (AMS360).

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management within an independent agency setting

Knowledge of commercial lines coverage and a strong understanding of insurance policies

Familiarity with carrier websites, quoting systems, and appetite guides (preferred)

Experience in account management and customer service within the insurance industry

Proficiency with insurance software systems, AMS360 (preferred)

Ability to manage insurance accounts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Relevant insurance certifications or licenses are a plus
