The Floor Tech position involves cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors.
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
1‑2 years of experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
Customer Service Experience.
Experience with floor waxing, buffing, stripping, polishing, and carpet shampooing.
1‑2 years of similar work experience.
Essential Functions
Clean and maintain carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning.
Use safety measures in work areas.
Assist the Building/Account Lead with special projects such as setups, breakdowns, move‑ins, and move‑outs.
Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including spot‑cleaning treatments.
Drive vehicles (if required) such as vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners to perform cleaning work.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Meet all requirements for specific work environments (e.g., ATS) and maintain a ten‑year work history if applicable.
