Your Responsibilities
Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
Assist customers with the loading of merchandise into shopping carts and provide assistance for loading into their vehicles.
Check retail prices on shelves for check stand personnel.
Pull merchandise from the check stand (“go backs”) and return it to the proper shelf. Walk aisles and return any misplaced items to their proper location. Face merchandise on aisles as needed.
Monitor the cleanliness of the store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside; pick up and empty trash regularly; mop outside walkways and clean entrance/exit doors daily.
Monitor the cleanliness of the store throughout the day: sweep, mop, and clean; restock restrooms as needed.
Qualifications
Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 60 pounds.
