Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced

Medical Device Sales Professional

to join our growing team as a

Key Account Manager . This is a field-based, high-impact role focused primarily on the hospital operating room environment. With significant travel and a strong emphasis on new business development, this is a true “hunter” role ideal for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building relationships and driving territory growth.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred

Minimum of

2 years of medical device sales experience

in the hospital setting

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

Experience working in environments with global or enterprise-level objectives

Ability and willingness to travel approximately

70% , including occasional weekend work

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business development and contribute to regional strategic growth plans

Manage and grow all accounts within the assigned territory across multiple channels, including hospitals, long‑term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and DME providers

Increase utilization within key Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)

Collaborate with acute care partners on new opportunities, evaluations, and implementation plans

Partner with post‑acute providers to expand existing business and prospect new opportunities

Conduct NPWT product in‑servicing and education for surgeons, nurses, biomed teams, case management, and other stakeholders

Develop and manage a robust sales funnel to achieve and exceed territory quotas

Lead multi‑site product launches, conversions, and facility rollouts

Initiate new customer setups and deliver product training to ensure effective equipment utilization

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, call reports, and follow‑ups within the company CRM system

Compliance & Credentialing

Employees must meet all vendor credentialing and compliance requirements for accounts within the assigned territory, including (but not limited to) RepTrax, VendorMate, Status Blue, and VCS. As part of credentialing, employees must comply with account‑specific drug screening requirements, including screening for marijuana use, regardless of state legality.
