MEP STAFF, LLC is a leading MEP Engineering and Construction Recruitment Firm in the United States. We are partnering with several Architects and MEP Consulting Firms in the greater Charlotte area to fill Mechanical Designers, Engineers and Project Managers positions. We have openings for candidates with various levels of experience designing HVAC, Plumbing, Piping and/or Fire Protection systems on commercial and industrial projects. Typical projects include healthcare, mission critical, science / technology, educational, government / federal, retail / hospitality and commercial / mixed-use residential. Responsibilities
Examine field conditions as required to support development and completion of projects Design mechanical systems including calculations of heating and cooling loads while adhering to the firm’s QA/QC process Select and layout mechanical equipment such as pumps, chiller, fans and boilers Develop project specifications Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future and or current projects Key Skills and Abilities
Skill in the use of AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, Trace and Bluebeam Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering Seniority Level
