Radiology Techs
for
13-week contract positions.
Hourly rates range between
$65-$75/hour
based on experience, location, and shift. Schedules may vary but are available in days, evenings, or nights.
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including routine and specialized X-rays, MRI, or CT scans in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols. Conduct bone density examinations (DEXA scans) to assess bone health and support the diagnosis of conditions such as osteoporosis. Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns to promote a safe and positive experience. Accurately position patients and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure. Maintain clear and accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures, exposure factors, and any notable observations. Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards, aseptic techniques, and infection control policies to protect patients, staff, and self. Work closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure appropriate imaging techniques are selected based on clinical indications. Perform routine checks, maintenance, and quality control tests on X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Radiologic Technologist Requirements: NYS ARRT (R) License & Registration AHA Basic Life Support Certification 1+ years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
