Job Description The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor as well as a licensed pharmacist at all times and in collaboration with the healthcare team to provide exceptional value to our customers. They will be a key contributor to the Infusion Pharmacy's operation and should be experienced professionals in this segment of care delivery.

General Duties

Pack orders and prepare for shipment

Coordinate the shipping of medications to patients via the Drivers, Couriers, and FedEx

Handle receiving of packages to the pharmacy and office location

Stock and maintain the warehouse shelves, assists with inventory

Maintain and clean warehouse as directed

Work with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding testing for Cold Chain Policy

Assist and work with the dispatching of the drivers for daily deliveries

Demonstrate and incorporate principles of safety & infection control into daily activities as outlined in the organization’s policies and procedures

Confirm delivery based on company protocols

Ensure that the Warehouse and Shipping areas are maintained and clean in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Adhere to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices; comply with state and federal laws

Assist with product purchasing, inventory, and equipment management

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the correct drug products are received from the wholesale company if requested

Assist with the National Pump Depot and work with the Biotechnician, including tracking and cleaning of pumps and medical equipment

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience/Skill Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Highly Preferred Experience/Skill Requirements

Experience working in an acute or specialty infusion pharmacy

Experience working in a Warehouse environment

Experience with CPR+ Pharmacy Management System

Physical Demands Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
