Job Overview
Electrical Foreman at CarolinaPower. Immediate full‑time opening in the Southeast. Work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare and Federal businesses. Regular full‑time position eligible for benefits. Pay range depends on experience, skills and knowledge.
Responsibility & Organization
Schedule, coordinate and supervise field employees assigned to electrical construction or service projects.
Work with other trades to ensure all specifications, regulations and policies are met and that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Lead a team of electricians; maintain production control, cost control and waste elimination.
Communicate with project stakeholders and maintain safety/hazard recognition & elimination.
Ensure customer satisfaction and safety compliance throughout the project life cycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma/equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience can substitute.
Minimum of 3–5 years of electrical construction experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, contract documents, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents.
Analytical thought process to troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems.
Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate craft performance.
Capable of managing and leading electrical crews.
Overtime and/or long hours may be required.
Travel for projects as required.
