About The Role Our growing financial institution is seeking a Personal Banker to be an integral part of our Pasco Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with a variety of banking needs. Pay range:

$17.82 to $26.74 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

Open various new accounts, process necessary information and educate customers as to services/products available (e.g., Visa check card, online banking, ATM, etc.).

Assist with a wide variety of customer services including opening/closing shared certificates, maintaining safe deposit boxes, assisting customers with checkbooks, processing credit card/loan applications, managing outgoing wires, resolving fraud issues, notary, closing accounts, etc.

Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.

Assist customers with opening certificates of deposit (CDs) and educate customers about penalties, earnings, etc.

Provide backup to tellers upon request.

Set up auto transfers and sign up customers for ACH transfers and wires.

Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control.

Use every customer contact as an opportunity to advise customers about additional services or programs that might benefit them.

About You Qualifications

Minimum of six months of similar or related experience.

High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit; use hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear. Occasionally must stand, walk, lift or reach with hands and arms. Must operate routine office equipment including computer terminals, keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must work an average of 6–8 hours per day on a computer when necessary, and may need to work extended hours or travel off site when required. Must be capable of reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in an emergency situation. Lifting: light work up to 25 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, negligible amount constantly. Vision: close visual acuity for activities such as data analysis, transcribing, computer use, extensive reading, visual inspection of small parts or machines.
