Responsibilities
Drive growth by bringing in new business and expanding our carrier footprint through smart, strategic appointments and strong producer relationships.
Own outcomes, navigating the quote-bind-issue lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring fast, accurate turnaround on every deal.
Operate like an owner: build and evolve QuoteWell’s wholesale capabilities, especially within binding authority lines, driving efficiency and scale as we grow.
Work across teams by partnering with Engineering, Product, and Operations to design and implement tools that make underwriting in surplus lines smoother and smarter.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a wholesale underwriting or production role, with a strong record of success in E&S.
Active home state general and surplus lines licenses.
Producer mindset: ability to sell, build relationships, and close deals.
Fast‑paced execution: thrive in a high‑volume environment, generating quotes and servicing policies quickly without sacrificing quality.
Clear communicator: writes crisply, speaks clearly, and adapts tone to agents, carriers, and teammates.
Organized and accountable: juggle multiple priorities, track every detail, and don’t drop the ball.
Problem‑solver: identify when something breaks or is missing and build solutions.
Team‑first attitude: roll up sleeves, help teammates, and celebrate shared wins.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
