Senior Identity & Active Directory Engineer
City:
Seattle, WA / Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote:
Hybrid (4 days a week Onsite)
Duration:
9 months
Rate Range:
Up to $100/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub‑contract)
Work Authorization:
GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B
Must Have:
Active Directory
Microsoft Identity Manager
Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
LDAP integrations
PKI and certificate services
DNS
Group Policy (GPO)
Responsibilities:
Lead assessment and analysis of domain controllers across the AD forest.
Plan and guide upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of domain controllers.
Analyze legacy PKI usage and migrate certificates to Microsoft PKI services.
Design future directory and identity service offerings based on technical analysis.
Define engineered designs with full technical documentation.
Perform domain controller consolidation while maintaining domain health.
Clean up AD objects, GPOs, and replication topology.
Troubleshoot AD, DNS, and PKI issues and remediate risks.
Document configurations, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience designing and integrating hybrid LDAP environments with 40,000+ users.
Strong background in AD infrastructure and logical design.
Experience leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Experience working with vendors in outsourced environments.
