As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will engage customers, exceed sales targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as an in‑store brand ambassador, educating customers about our industry‑leading products and building lifelong relationships.
Responsibilities
Connection Builder: Serve as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming environment and guiding customers to the right products and services.
Store Expert: Maintain deep product knowledge, stay current on industry trends, and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs.
Problem Solver: Assist with billing and service questions, process payments and exchanges, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Brand Ambassador: Represent Optimum’s values, professionalism, and enthusiasm in all customer interactions.
Team Builder: Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience and support team goals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of retail selling experience.
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
Self‑motivator with the ability to work independently.
Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
For some locations, willingness to travel up to 35 miles between stores.
Physical Abilities: Standing for prolonged periods; potential to lift up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work full time and weekends as necessary.
