Summary Turner is seeking an
Account Coordinator
with a passion for the industries we serve.
This hybrid role must be based in
either New York City, NY or Denver, CO , requiring two days per week in office working alongside our team.

Responsibilities
Monitor, track, and report coverage for an assigned portfolio of accounts
Help prepare client meeting agendas, notes and recurring reporting deliverables based on client needs
Assist with developing professionally prepared materials which includes but is not limited to: media alerts, photo captions, media/influencer pitches, media briefs/bios and fact sheets
Support account organization, including managing project software to ensure the team has clear assignments and deadlines logged
Participate in brainstorming strategic and impactful angles, initiatives and activities
Assist with multicultural campaign support
Support team and grow skills for outbound media relations: developing media lists, researching outlets and reporters, drafting pitches under supervision. May also assist with product management, inventory, sample pulls and requests
Research and evaluate influencers for partnerships and seeding opportunities
Assist with research assignments
Co-plan client media tours and local market visits as needed
Support booking travel for media familiarization trips and brand immersions
Other tasks to support the PR team as needed such as support in wrap-up reports for campaigns and events
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong writing and editing skills, with an epic attention to detail
A voracious appetite for consuming media content across industries and platforms with special attention to trends and how outlets are structuring their content
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
The ability to anticipate team and client needs and proactively assist
Solid project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple accounts
Proficiency in AP Style
Familiarity with Meltwater, MightyScout, BurrellesLuce, Critical Mention, TrendKite and cloud-based tools is a plus
A proven understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Twitter
BA or BS in public relations, journalism, communications or any field with a strong emphasis on writing and communication
Prior experience through an internship or similar work experience
