Neuroscience Sales Specialist - Poughkeepsie, NY Join Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Neuroscience Sales Specialist in the Hudson Valley region. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for driving sales growth of neuroscience products within a defined territory while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.

The Opportunity The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is a strategic, results‑driven professional who will own a territory, build strong relationships with healthcare providers, and deliver tailored solutions that exceed sales targets. The role requires a deep understanding of account‑based selling, strong problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Essential Areas Of Responsibility

Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (e.g., physicians and office staff).

Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in‑service training to current and potential customers.

Consult with healthcare providers to promote products and deliver patient education.

Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions and leveraging industry insights.

Analyze sales data to develop effective territory plans and use promotional budget funds.

Maintain a competitive edge by addressing market challenges and collaborating with internal teams for cohesive sales strategies.

Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan for face‑to‑face interactions with target healthcare providers.

Apply creative problem‑solving techniques to improve performance in the geographic assignment.

Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.

Achieve sales performance goals and complete administrative duties for the geographic assignment.

NORTH – Glen’s Falls

SOUTH – Suffern, NY

CENTER – Albany, NY / Poughkeepsie, NY

WEST – Middletown, NY

Your Experience And Qualifications Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the job requirements is considered.

Education / Certification / Experience

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.

Minimum 1 year of full‑time, documented B2B sales experience (pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred).

Professional relationships or networks within the Albany medical community are preferred.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Proven record of accomplishments in this market toward meeting established objectives.

Strong interpersonal skills: active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and responsiveness to feedback.

Well‑developed written and oral communication skills.

Experience interacting with HCPs in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments; proficiency with technology.

Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing (preferred).

New product launch experience (preferred).

Broad therapeutic area experience, particularly in neuroscience (preferred).

Successful completion of background, motor, and drug screening.

Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Level of Experience

Sales Specialist: Minimum 1 year

Executive Sales Specialist: Minimum 7 years

Travel Requirements Regular travel, including air travel and weekend or overnight trips.

Compensation Data Annual starting salary ranges from $88,000 to $160,000, depending on geography, skills, education, and experience. The role also qualifies for a sales incentive plan based on defined sales targets.

Other Information During the onboarding training period the position is non‑exempt and eligible for overtime. After completion of onboarding, the role is exempt and non‑eligible for overtime per Teva policy.
