Highlights of what the Landscape Designer is responsible for, but not limited to:
Generates CAD computer generated designs and drafting plans.
Designs forefronts for residential projects.
Generates drawings for all production packages.
Designs all models for clients.
Prepares residential design renovations and retros.
Administers all CAD related functions in the department.
Generates all drawings for the department.
Works closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
Works from customer drawings, company drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
Coordinates with estimating department by red lining changes and issuing drawings for estimating to issue product.
Researches new design software and technological advances in design in order to maintain optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Landscape Designer will include, but not limited to:
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Landscape Design experience is highly preferred
One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of horticulture design experience.
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics
Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic
Ability to be flexible with work schedule; overtime may be required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
