Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226‑bed acute care facility serving Northern California. Responsibilities

Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the RCP II will perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care with consideration of age and population‑specific needs. In the absence of a supervisor, the RCP II may be assigned as Lead RCP for the section or department during their shift.

Qualifications

State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

2 years experience as an RCP preferred.

ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.

NRP certificate preferred.

PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree required; if not, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Pay Transparency

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers a competitive compensation range of $42.53 to $58.87 per hour, with the exact starting compensation determined at the time of selection. Benefits include paid time off, a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and various voluntary benefit options.
