Position Focus The
Community Advocacy Manager
plays a pivotal role in leading the Community Advocacy team’s initiatives within AdventHealth’s Community Resource Network, known as the WholeHealth Hub (Powered by Findhelp). This leader will work closely with Findhelp, multiple markets, and cross-functional departments to develop and implement a
community engagement strategy
that drives awareness and adoption of the WholeHealth Hub. By fostering collaboration and ensuring consistent usage across markets, the Community Advocacy Manager will help maximize the impact of this vital resource.
Responsibilities
Works proactively and independently, showing initiative and problem-solving skills while seeking advice when appropriate.
Attends and actively participates in related collaborations and committees.
Serves as point of contact for leadership on community benefit initiatives to ensure inclusion within strategic and financial planning processes.
Compiles metrics and reports for program strategies and objectives, including annual evaluations.
Assists markets in the development and implementation of community-based needs assessments and plans.
Supports relationships with external partners, including non-profit organizations, foundations, community influencers, and business leaders.
Activates sponsorship and/or fundraising opportunities for events and programs benefiting community health.
Keeps AdventHealth leaders informed of community work, providing strategic opportunities to speak, attend events, serve on boards, and be visible in the community.
Collaborates with related hospital departments to enhance community relationships.
Manages support and tracking of hospital community benefit program activations and evaluations across system.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
Serving as a resource and guide to the system regarding the Community Resources Network (WholeHealth Hub), providing guidance, support and trainings when needed.
Pulling analytic reports to determine the current state of utilization of the WholeHealth Hub.
Working closely with FindHelp to ensure a Community Engagement strategy is developed and implemented in participating markets.
Providing ongoing trainings to community-based organizations.
Providing ongoing trainings and guidance to team members who are assisting in a community engagement strategy for their region.
Creating reports upon request for markets and leadership.
Participating in monthly FindHelp calls, planning sessions, and other cross-department meetings to ensure community engagement goals and progress are communicated effectively.
Qualifications Bachelor's (Required)
Pay Range: $72,786.83 - $135,385.27
