Account Executive – Environmental Analytical Services
Eurofins Environment Testing (USA)
provides a base salary of
$75,000
to
$95,000
annually, depending on experience.
Location:
Houston, TX (Remote possible)
Job Description Sales personnel within the assigned region identify and manage client accounts and business opportunities in the environmental analytical services market. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining productive relationships, acquiring new accounts, closing profitable work, communicating customer needs, and providing a valuable interface between customers and internal teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet individual revenue goals and overall regional targets.
Establish and maintain productive relationships between clients and laboratory.
Promote Eurofins Environment Testing America capabilities and services to improve selling opportunities.
Provide sales plan forecast for the assigned region.
Review credit status of new and existing customers prior to submitting bids or proposals.
Monitor accounts receivable status and resolve collection issues as required.
Develop and recommend pricing strategies, master service agreements, and budgetary information.
Develop client profiles and assess potential funding ability.
Qualify, track, and close leads to increase revenue.
Report sales activity within assigned area.
Update customer databases to identify new opportunities.
Implement account plans detailing specific clients, revenue goals, and related objectives.
Identify key target markets and major accounts and develop strategies to attain market position and maintain profitability.
Negotiate and complete master service agreements with customers.
Communicate customer needs to service managers and project managers.
Complete summaries of sales development activities as directed by GM.
Follow up on outstanding bids, quotes, proposals, and pricing inquiries.
Negotiate pricing and contractual issues within area of responsibility with GM approval.
Present Eurofins as a network of laboratories and promote operational efficiencies.
Control expenses related to the selling function per company policy and with GM approval.
Act as sponsor for National Accounts as needed.
Provide market condition feedback to facilitate new product and service development.
Maintain relationships with network facilities to support operational awareness.
Provide information on business outcomes related to win/loss ratios and future pricing strategies.
Provide forecasting information for customer service managers to aid resource planning.
Assist with sales material development.
Gather competitive intelligence.
Identify and communicate opportunities for new products and services within the region.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Sciences or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.
Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
Authorization to work in the United States with no restrictions or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Additional Information This is a full‑time salaried position, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with additional hours as needed.
Remote work is possible.
