Base pay range: $49,900.00/yr - $96,900.00/yr.
Responsibilities:
Initiate sales, take orders, anticipate and meet customer needs.
Manage assigned product portfolio, including selecting vendors, purchasing, pricing, monitoring inventory, and promoting products.
Contact customers regarding market fluctuations and trends.
Coordinate and maximize customer inventory.
Communicate customer service requirements to local customer service representatives.
Coordinate customer deliveries with shipping personnel.
Perform freight/trucking specialist responsibilities at select locations.
Engage vendors regarding product-related customer inquiries or concerns.
Assist outside sales staff and product managers.
Develop and execute marketing programs, promotions, and new product research.
Lead and support sales support staff.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Working knowledge of CAD systems, blueprint reading, and drafting.
Office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Preferred: 3–5 years of related experience.
Knowledge of the building materials industry and structural experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
