Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wage:

$23 hourly Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing a diverse range of activities, including games, exercise programs, arts and crafts, music sessions, and social events. Create activity schedules and calendars to cater to different interests and abilities. Prepare activity areas, gather necessary supplies, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment. Lead group activities and engage residents in one-on-one interactions. Encourage participation and provide support to residents who may need assistance. Observe residents’ responses and report any changes in needs or behavior to appropriate personnel. Maintain records of resident participation, including attendance and feedback. Communicate with staff, volunteers, and families to coordinate activities and ensure resident needs are met. Transport residents to and from activities as needed and assist with setup and cleanup of activity areas. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications

Active CPR/BLS certification during employment. Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute or critical care clinical setting preferred. Experience with electronic medical record documentation. Active, unencumbered driver’s license. Experience with volunteer work or activity work with geriatric population. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creative, flexible, patient and empathic working with the geriatric population. Benefits
