Associate Sales Representative – Joint Replacement (Kansas City, KS) at
Stryker What you will do
Assist competitive, results‑oriented salespeople in promoting and selling Stryker products. Conduct product evaluations in the operating room (OR) and office settings. Support business development activities, track territory progress, and communicate effectively with Sales Representatives. Resolve product problems on‑site and educate medical staff. Provide exceptional service to customers. Maintain sample inventory with strong time management. Build lasting client relationships with key stakeholders. Learn or hone selling skills through coaching, mentoring support from Joint Replacement Sales Representatives and Managers. Work on‑call duties (evenings, weekends, holidays) as required by territory needs. Complete required trainings and certifications to maintain product expertise and readiness. What you need
Required
Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree OR Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) AND minimum 2 years of related experience. High School Diploma AND minimum 4 years of related experience. Minimum 4 years of active‑duties military service. Preferred
Experience in medical related fields or B2B sales. Demonstrated team leadership experience. Sales or marketing internship. Collegiate extracurricular experience (e.g., student‑athletes, student government, fraternity/sorority leadership) demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Additional information
This position requires handling instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. OSHA regulations apply and Stryker will provide a safe working environment. Valid driver's license required. Fluency in written and spoken English required. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Benefits
