Account Executive, Local – TForce Freight
A Local Account Executive strategically converts new business, penetrates territories, and fulfills quotas, with a primary objective to grow and retain profitable revenue. The role analyses sales reports and transportation trends to identify new customers, growth from existing customers, and shipment reductions. This position promotes cross‑functional sales by sharing leads, informing peers on freight services and bundling opportunities, and collaborating on sales proposals. Responsibilities
Compile weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information. Analyze account recaps and monitor revenue trends to develop service recommendations. Utilize shipping technology and systems for account activity review and customer database sign‑up. Manage accounts by advising customers on billing processes, resolving inquiries, and entertaining customers. Train customers on use and advantages of web‑based shipping and tracking functions. Possess strong customer relations, positioning the needed TFI shipping service to expand the customer’s business needs. Qualifications
U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. Currently located in the same geographic location as the position or willing to self‑relocate. Organized, detail‑oriented, and have strong communication skills. Understand TFI leverage over competitor products, services, and technology. Project future customer needs and be a critical thinker with analytical skills. Possess ability to identify issues and provide solutions and be a problem solver. Builds strategic relationships with focus on customer pipeline and key decision makers. Persuasive negotiator with tactical techniques to overcome objections. Possess strong knowledge of industry trends and financial impact. Experience giving sales presentations. Bachelor’s Degree not required but preferred.
