What Drives Success This sales representative sells products, services and supplies to selected customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts. The person in this position may have account responsibility with quotas. Limited field activity may occur, but only on an infrequent basis.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Quote jobs
Close the sales on assigned products, or generate leads for outside sales staff
Pro‑actively sell to installed‑base in support of company promotion and upgrade campaigns
Collaborate with and support field sales
What We Are Looking For Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 2 years related experience. Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time are required. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services—including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems—is required. Ability to provide customer service, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards and evaluating satisfaction. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate industry and product knowledge. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software is required.
What We Offer Compensation:
This is a salaried non‑exempt role. Employees receive a salary and also overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $54,400 and $71,400 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the company’s applicable plan.
