Responsibilities
Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer beauty goals
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using selling tools (including text and social media)
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness
Stay current with beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners
Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts

Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment
Empathy and respect for all customers during makeup and skincare application
Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
Drive to achieve sales goals with interest in networking and technology
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and merchandise handling
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Ability to handle bulky items and reach to lift items above head height
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
