THE PRODUCTION FACTORY
Manager: Executive Producer (New York) / Head of Production (London)
Based in our New York office, you’ll join the production team to deliver stills and motion shoots in studio, on location, and abroad. You’ll help strengthen client relationships while producing projects ranging from large‑scale campaigns to smaller still‑life shoots. The Senior Producer role is responsible for the successful delivery of photo and motion productions across international markets, applying advanced UK and European production practices to the company’s expanding US operations.
What you need:
Extensive experience producing photo and motion shoots
within creative or production agencies across the UK, Europe and the US, bringing knowledge of UK/EU production standards and workflows to US operations.
Proven ability to manage and deliver multi‑platform campaigns
from concept to completion, demonstrating specialised expertise in international production environments.
Strong project management capability , including budgeting, scheduling, supplier sourcing and hands‑on on‑set leadership across both studio and location settings in multiple countries.
Experience coordinating overlapping projects
across time zones and markets, maintaining high creative and production standards under pressure.
Confident client‑facing communication , with the ability to interface effectively with international clients and navigate the differing expectations of US, UK and European partners.
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
supported by strong negotiation skills and the ability to problem‑solve within complex international production contexts.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally , including to the UK and Europe, to support cross‑market productions and maintain global continuity.
Established familiarity with UK/EU supplier ecosystems , enabling the integration of European talent, crew, and production approaches into US‑based projects.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage assigned productions from brief through to final delivery ensuring alignment with global expectations for quality, workflow and delivery.
Take briefs from senior leadership (Head of Production, Executive Producer, or client) and confidently lead all production stages across domestic and international shoots.
Oversee all financial aspects of productions, including detailed budgeting, supplier negotiations, billing, cost management and final project reconciliation.
Plan and manage multiple simultaneous shoots across studio, location, and overseas environments, including productions not only across the US but in the UK and Europe as well requiring specialised international coordination.
Negotiate rates and agreements with crew, suppliers and talent using knowledge of international rate structures, and global supplier relationships.
Coordinate all shoot logistics managing more junior team members, including travel, equipment rentals, casting, call sheets and communication with local production teams across different markets.
Serve as a direct client contact for day‑to‑day production matters, ensuring clarity of communication, accurate timeline management and smooth project execution.
Support creative decision‑making by recommending globally based photographers, directors, stylists and other talent, while continually expanding and maintaining the company’s international supplier roster.
Help embed global best practices within the US production workflow by drawing on specialised knowledge gained in UK/EU production environments.
Execute any additional duties relevant to the role that support the company’s continued international integration and growth.
