Dotcom-Monitor is seeking an experienced Content Manager to own, evolve, and execute our content strategy across multiple product domains, including Dotcom-Monitor, LoadView, and other supporting web properties.
This is a manager-level role for a self-directed, strategic content leader who understands how to turn technical concepts into high-converting, human-centered content. You will be responsible for the full content lifecycle from strategy and planning through creation, optimization, publishing, and ongoing performance improvement.
You are not an engineer who happens to write. You are a technical marketer who understands web technologies well enough to communicate them clearly, persuasively, and credibly to technical buyers.
What You Will Do
Own content strategy and execution across all Dotcom-Monitor product domains and web properties.
Maintain and regularly update cornerstone and evergreen content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, SEO health, and conversion performance.
Partner closely with the SEO team to develop and execute content initiatives, including keyword-driven blog posts, ongoing optimization of cornerstone content, and updates to existing assets to improve rankings, engagement, and conversion performance.
Plan, write, edit, and publish high-quality blog posts, product content, landing pages, and long-form assets (whitepapers, guides, comparison pages).
Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to translate product features, releases, and technical concepts into compelling content.
Lead and manage external writers and contractors, maintaining quality, consistency, deadlines, and a healthy content pipeline.
Leverage AI-generated content responsibly, ensuring all output is humanized, accurate, brand-aligned, and optimized for engagement and conversion.
Optimize content for SEO, UX, and conversion, not just traffic.
Work closely with SEO stakeholders to refresh and improve existing content and identify new growth opportunities.
Analyze content performance using analytics tools and continuously refine strategy based on results.
What We Expect From You
A true self-starter who can operate independently without constant oversight.
Strong editorial judgment and the confidence to own decisions related to content quality, prioritization, and strategy.
Ability to manage multiple content streams across different products and audiences.
Deep understanding of writing for the web, including structure, readability, conversion paths, and buyer intent.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent written English native (preferred) or first-language fluency required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in content marketing, technical marketing, or a related role (preferably in SaaS, cloud, web infrastructure, or monitoring/observability).
Proven experience owning and managing content across multiple products or domains.
Demonstrated success writing conversion-focused content (not just informational blogs).
Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted content tools, with a strong ability to edit, humanize, and elevate AI‑generated drafts.
Strong SEO knowledge, including keyword research, on‑page optimization, and long‑form content strategy.
Experience managing external writers or agencies.
Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Ability to understand and edit content produced by engineers and subject‑matter experts.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with web technologies and infrastructure concepts (DNS, HTTP/S, cloud platforms, uptime monitoring, performance testing).
Previous experience with programming or scripting languages (not required, but helpful).
Experience measuring content effectiveness using analytics tools (GA, Search Console, SEO platforms, etc.).
Experience updating and optimizing legacy content at scale.
Why This Role Matters Content is a core growth driver at Dotcom-Monitor. This role is not about simply managing writers or passively maintaining blogs—it's about owning content as a business asset and continuously improving how our products are discovered, understood, and chosen. If you're a strategic, hands‑on content leader who knows how to turn technical products into compelling stories that convert, we'd love to hear from you!
