FT In-Room Dining Order Taker
to join the team!
The
Order Taker
is responsible for answering telephones and accurately taking guest food and beverage orders, supporting the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service and financial performance.
What will I be doing?
As an Order Taker, you will play a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by handling room service orders with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. Responsibilities include performing the following duties to the highest standards:
·Answer room service telephones and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
·Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including restaurant promotions, daily specials, preparation methods, and ingredients
·Upsell food and beverage items, including sides, desserts, beverages, and promotional offerings, to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
·Accurately take guest food and beverage orders and enter them into the appropriate point-of-sale (POS) system
·Reconcile checks upon order delivery, including verifying totals, ensuring proper gratuity distribution, and managing the cash drawer and house bank in accordance with established accounting procedures
