As an Account Executive at McCann New York, you will sharpen your foundational skills in Business Leadership. You will be a true partner to our client, bring a fresh perspective to the agency and help the team develop and execute culture‑defining creative work that impacts business. You will support a brand that is likely a leader in their category and be responsible for understanding and applying your knowledge of business drivers, category landscape, and brand research to the creative work. Your work will be fully integrated across experiential, social, digital, and traditional media channels.
You should be inquisitive about the links between brand behavior, popular culture, business results, and emerging communications and technology trends.
What You Do:
Be a champion for great work by sharing knowledge of the client, business, and brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment and strategic recommendations.
Deliver exceptional client management and establish trust with clients, developing strong relationships across departments and among integrated agency partners.
Develop strong relationships with internal counterparts on the creative, strategy, project management, and production teams, demonstrating respect for their roles and creating a collaborative environment.
Be the steward of any assigned projects; setting priorities, organizing workstreams, monitoring progress and problem‑solving for challenges.
Learn to lead smaller workstreams/campaigns and take the lead in feedback and post‑production processes.
Coordinate schedules and ensure meetings are scheduled in a timely manner.
Own end‑to‑end trafficking process.
Support the team to execute integrated campaigns, applying knowledge of production and process. Develop project budgets and ensure projects run on schedule and in budget.
Be knowledgeable of the business, starting to understand the ins and outs of products, claims, and competitive landscape, to support the team and help day‑to‑day business run smoothly.
Proactively assist in the development of presentations across strategy, creative, and production.
Source, identify, and package consumer and culture news/trends/competitive insights, inspiring agency and client teams’ strategic and creative development and keeping clients current.
Continually seek ways to add value to the client‑agency relationship.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $73,000, influenced by factors such as current/former employee ranges, discipline market considerations, budget, tenure, and applicant qualifications.
