Job Summary The Solutions Consultant will sell Add‑on Software Modules related to First Insight’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management System (PMS) solutions including adoption of First Insight’s integrated card payment solutions. The Solutions Consultant will also sell Revenue Cycle Management Software/Solutions to Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in designated territory.

Job Description

Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach. Engage with potential customers.

Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up on marketing‑generated leads.

Perform outreach and discovery calls to source new opportunities and to understand client needs and pain points.

Proactively reach out to existing clients to promote adoption of Add‑on Software Modules, Revenue Cycle Management Software/Solutions, integrated card payment services etc.

Conduct webinars and other online events to generate leads.

Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions to meet practice size, payment volume etc.

Deliver compelling product/service demonstrations via virtual/offsite meetings to physicians, practice managers, and decision‑makers.

Conduct product demos and consultations via phone and video meetings, explaining how Add‑on Software Modules, Revenue Cycle Management Software/Solutions and payment integration reduces administrative burden and increases savings.

Conduct consultative sales calls with physicians, clinics and any key decision makers, utilizing solid product/technical knowledge to educate on the products, add‑ons and services.

Educate prospects on the value, features and ROI of the Add‑on Software modules, Revenue Cycle Management Software/Solutions, integrated payment solutions etc. including clinical efficiency, billing automation, and regulatory compliance.

Exceed monthly adoption targets and drive measurable increases in payment processing volume and revenue share participation. Track estimated vs. actual increases and engage with customers in cases of shortfall.

Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align messaging and ensure a smooth client onboarding process.

Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage sales cycles to closure.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of sales activities, leads, opportunities, forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Coordinate with product, onboarding, operation and support teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful implementation post‑sale.

Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes affecting healthcare IT.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ of inside sales experience in healthcare software or health IT (EHR, PMS, RCM platforms, fintech, or payment solutions etc.). Experience selling to medical practices, hospitals, or ambulatory care centers.

Minimum 2 years’ experience selling to optometrists and ophthalmologists - REQUIRED.

Understanding of US healthcare operations, EHR workflows, and practice management needs and the EHR/PMS market.

Experience selling integrated payments or value‑added services within an EHR/PMS platform and familiarity with payment processing, merchant services, or revenue share models is a strong plus.

Proven ability to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and sales opportunities.

Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset.

Knowledge of HIPAA and other relevant healthcare compliance standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, consultative selling, and presentation skills.

Experience working with physicians, practice managers, and healthcare administrators.

Comfortable in a high‑volume outbound sales environment.

Ability to travel and work weekends when there are trade shows.

Must overlap working hours with team and management meetings.

Ability to work closely and effectively with a broad range of coworkers and vendors.

Ability to learn technical and clinical details and communicate effectively with clinicians and staff.

Ability to evaluate customer needs thoroughly and quickly while providing concrete solutions.

Ability to speak to groups clearly, confidently and persuasively.

Ability to think quickly and identify and respond to objections.

Ability to handle rejections and non‑responsive prospects.

Ability to study and learn about a competitor's strengths and weaknesses.

Valid Driver’s License.
