The Manager of Sales Development leads a high performing team of Outbound SDRs, driving pipeline creation through strong coaching, data‑driven insights, and cross‑functional alignment. This role owns team development, forecasting, process improvement, and operation efficiency. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure consistent growth, clear strategy, and opportunities to establish seamless execution and continuous improvement across the funnel. Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives through regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations. Communicate clear goals, expectations, and success metrics to the team and ensure consistent execution. Leverage reporting to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Reactively communicate issues, blockers, or breakdowns in real time to provide clear context, solutions, and follow‑up steps. Participate in standing meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment on goals, lead flow, messaging, and performance. Identify operational insufficiencies and implement scalable solutions to streamline SDR workflows. Deliver structured feedback and support personalized development plans for each team member. Forecast sales revenue, pipeline contribution and performance outcomes using historical data and real‑time activity. Lead initiatives to support speed to lead, outreach quality, follow‑up precision, and lead management. Standardize best practices for prospecting, qualification, messaging, and sequencing. Conduct SDR interviews and evaluate talent. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly SDR KPIs including conversion rates, activity, close rates, pipeline management, and speed to lead. Create a positive, motivating, and collaborative team environment focused on growth and results. Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned. Success Criteria
A well‑coached, high performing SDR team consistently exceeding goals. Strong cross‑department alignment, transparent communication, and fast resolution of issues. Data‑driven forecasting that accurately reflects SDR contribution and productivity. Streamlined, scalable processes that improve quality, efficiency, and team impact. A culture rooted in accountability, growth, and teamwork. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree. Relevant experience or degree in a related field of study from an accredited university is preferred; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. 2+ years experience in a supervisory position. Preferred Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in Sales Development or Sales. Bachelor's Degree. Relevant experience or degree in a related field of study from an accredited university is preferred. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role. Track record of developing SDRs into high performing sales professionals or other revenue‑generating roles. Seniority Level
