Overview
Director Relationship Manager - Luminare Health. This role, working collaboratively with the Executive Director and HCSC Vertical Lead, guides a team to drive high customer retention, exceptional customer experience and satisfaction, and strong account consultation aligned with Luminare Health, HCSC, and client goals. Partners with Operations and HCSC leadership to deliver solutions, problem solving, and effective project delivery for major and large accounts. The Director, Relationship Manager is responsible for building strong client relationships, fostering cross-team collaboration, and articulating operational performance while collaborating with key vendors. Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive Director, HCSC Vertical Lead to guide and direct a team focused on supporting ongoing business and operational needs of Luminare Health and HCSC major and large clients. Maintain leadership-level personal contact with clients and brokers via phone, meetings, and on-site visits. Assist with problem solving and issue resolution. Participate in presentations including monthly/quarterly performance results, initiative updates, renewal, and action plans. Collaborate with HCSC to recommend appropriate upsales. Oversee the completion and execution of Client Action Plans as appropriate. Provide leadership, support, and consultation in developing and executing project plans and strategies to improve retention, client satisfaction, expense management, and profitable growth. Guide all client management communication with clients, Luminare Health, HCSC leadership/departments, and vendors regarding new products and strategic initiatives. Ensure the client management team provides high-level customer service to internal and external constituents by coordinating across departments to meet client deliverables and resolve issues in a timely and equitable manner. Collaborate with HCSC on revenue growth opportunities, acting as a referral source for more profitable solutions and building consultative selling capabilities, including co-sell and cross-selling initiatives with HCSC and key clients. Ensure execution follow-through and operational accountability. Other duties as needed/assigned. Qualifications
Required - HCSC Client Management
Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of insurance industry experience 5+ years of Client Management or related experience Understanding of Health Benefits business strategy Project Management: prioritizes processes, meets deadlines, leads diverse teams to meet time-critical deadlines Communication: strong written and verbal skills, able to persuade and share information concisely Interpersonal Skills: builds rapport across diverse groups; diplomatic and tactful; can diffuse high-tension situations High accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail Cross-Functional Team Building: blends people into teams and builds morale Self-motivated with drive to complete assignments Decisive, resourceful, reliable, and creative PC literacy / Microsoft Office Preferred
