Quick Snapshot: The Inside Sales Manager will lead our retention and support team for the South Atlantic market area, driving revenue through inside‑sales tactics and strategies. Preference will be given to candidates with prior management or supervisory experience.

Job Summary Manages the South Atlantic Inside Sales Team and delivers expertise in sales of WM services. Develops and executes sales and marketing programs, providing guidance and direction to team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and reinforce the corporate sales strategy with the Inside Sales Team.

Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions.

Communicate with the Area Sales Leadership Team to resolve unique customer issues.

Supervise the Inside Sales Department and ensure team members meet or exceed goals for business retention, new business generation, opportunity creation, and account management.

Forecast and recruit qualified candidates for available and upgraded Inside Sales positions.

Develop and execute coaching and training for all Inside Sales Representatives, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

Assist in communicating and maintaining South Atlantic pricing and service strategies through collaboration with Area departments.

Set up and maintain accurate customer records for all interactions (prospect data, contracts, orders, service documentation).

Work with the Area Sales Leadership Team to develop and implement upsell and cross‑sell strategies via outbound calls.

Communicate goals to Inside Sales Representatives; arrange for proper training when necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise 19 full‑time employees, including a Supervisor, AA, AA II, and Sales Admin.

Qualifications A. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/ GED (accredited) with 4 years of relevant experience.

Three years of business‑to‑business sales management and three additional years in direct B2B sales.

Three years of proven success in a Level 4‑6 sales position.
