Who We Need We’re here because we want someone awesome to join our crew: An experienced Art Director who can manage all aspects of the creative process. The ideal candidate should have experience taking ownership of the full breadth of design projects, managing other members of the creative team, and collaborating with the digital and account teams on strategy and campaign execution.

Who We Are We are HangarFour. A creative agency within a large PR firm known as DKC. But who we actually are is a close-knit crew of multi-talented creatives who play a variety of roles. Responsibilities:

Build and understand the departmental vision, purpose, and strategies

Develop plans for accomplishing objectives, monitoring status, and improving work processes to achieve better results by anticipating problems

Delegate creative projects to other members of the creative team, manage overall creative timelines

Partner with copywriters and designers to develop and produce brand concepts as a part of integrated campaigns

Work alongside other internal teams to determine account strategy, target audience, and brand positioning

Develop brand key art and lead creative strategy across all platforms (static, web, digital and social)

Execute design, layout, and print production, prepare printer‑ready files, and check proofs

Produce and coordinate all aspect of client photo shoots

Design and produce eye‑catching and professional proposal decks using InDesign or PowerPoint/Google Slides

Ensure that designs meet both agency and client expectations, are within budget and are delivered on time

Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions, campaign planning, design and department meetings

Maintain well‑organized and accessible paperwork, renderings and digital design files

Desired Skills & Experience:

Minimum 7 years in relevant graphic design role

2+ years in supervisory role

Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop are musts), Figma, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office

Excellent sense of aesthetic design and a keen eye for typography, visual hierarchy, composition

Meticulous attention to detail and an ongoing commitment to achieving high‑quality results

Excellent organization skills, a natural collaborator but also self‑motivator that can work independently

Ability to prioritize and multi‑task and meet multiple deadlines at once

Professional demeanor and immersive interaction with senior client‑side executives as the face of the creative team

Ahead of design trends, new software and technologies, production techniques, props/design elements, and vendor products

Work varied shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays
