Order Entry Coordinator
Location South Salt Lake, UT
Job Type Contract to Hire (temporary position with potential for permanent)
Salary $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Manage and process 5-10 orders per day, including receiving and shipping.
Document orders using Windows PC and the Point of Rental system.
Communicate with customers to address equipment requests and inquiries.
Retrieve items from storage, test equipment, and package items for shipment.
Follow up with customers to ensure receipt of orders and manage returns.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in customer service or shipping and receiving.
Proficiency in order processing and data entry.
Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory management.
Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
Detail-oriented approach, especially when handling high-value equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of environmental or engineering equipment is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related field is preferred.
Work Environment The position is based in a small Utah office with two other employees. The Order Entry Coordinator will work onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, managing shipping and receiving of physical packages. The work environment fosters collaboration within a close-knit team, offering training in industry trends, profit‑sharing as annual bonuses, and potential pay raises upon permanent employment.
